Hydrotherapy (Pool Therapy)
Cowichan Capitals Team Physiotherapist
Will Harvey, MPT
Will played hockey in the BCHL for Powell River and Vernon before heading to Princeton University to join their program and pursue a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Though injuries cut his hockey career short, he later went on to teach secondary school in Singapore before returning home to continue studies at UBC, graduating in 2017 with a Masters of Physical Therapy.
Will doesn’t like to narrow his clinical interests to one area of practice — he loves problem solving the body. He believes that no two injuries are the same, and that optimal treatment will be tailored to that person’s needs and goals. He utilizes manual therapy and therapeutic exercise in his practice, and he dedicates himself to helping patients learn self-management strategies and finding long-term solutions.
Outside of the clinic, Will enjoys staying active by running, hiking, and mountain biking -- Will is new to the area, but he’s excited for what the Cowichan Valley has to offer, and thanks you all in advance for directions on the trails.
