Lisa LePoole, B.SC.P.T., BPE, CAFCI

Lisa has recently moved to the Cowichan Valley after selling her practice in Bragg Creek, where she was the owner and director of Bragg Creek Physiotherapy Ltd. since its opening in 2000.

She received her physiotherapy degree at Curtin University in Perth, Australia in 1998. Since then she has taken numerous post graduate courses in orthopedics and has a special interest in the shoulder and neck.

She completed her acupuncture certification in 2001, her certificate in Spinal Manual Therapy, and is a certified ART® provider. She enjoys working closely with her patients in a one on one setting to ensure their rehabilitation restores the highest level of function in their daily life, recreational and sporting activities. Using her foundation of manual therapy from an Australian education, Lisa incorporates hands-on therapy and exercise rehabilitation into her treatments.

Lisa is passionate about mountain biking, cycling, sailing and trail running. She competes in multi-day mountain bike stage races around the world. With her diverse competitive sporting background, Lisa has developed a keen interest in the management of sports-related injuries after suffering a number of them herself. She understands that sports can mean many things to different people and believes that prevention and care of injuries is vital to one’s physical and mental well-being.
