Kaitlyn Chernomaz, MPT, Bsc Kin
Kaitlyn graduated high school in Nanaimo, BC, and was offered an NCAA Division 1 softball scholarship at the University of South Alabama. She became passionate about pursuing the career of physiotherapy after enduring personal injuries throughout her sports career, and realized a therapists’ potential to both motivate and inspire all individuals plagued by physical and mental setbacks.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2009, and moved back to BC to begin her Masters of Physiotherapy Degree at the University of British Columbia. She graduated with her Masters Degree from UBC in 2012, and has since completed her Level 3 Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. She is also a certified IMS practitioner.
Kaitlyn enjoys all sports: hockey, skiing, golfing, running with her dog, and has competed in Crossfit and Olympic Weightlifting Competitions. She believes that no matter how young or old, there are no limits to achieving physical aspirations in life.
