Dayna Corbett, MScPT
Dayna is a former engineer turned physiotherapist who is passionate about working with people to get them feeling their best. Dayna was born in Ireland and moved to Canada at a young age. She has previously lived in Alberta and Nova Scotia prior to settling in Duncan.
Dayna completed both her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. After completing some of her own physiotherapy for personal injuries and attempting to maintain an active lifestyle, Dayna fell in love with learning about body mechanics, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. She decided to pursue a career in physiotherapy to use this passion to improve others’ lives. She is dedicated to life-long learning and following an evidence-based approach to physiotherapy practice. She believes in creating meaningful connections with her clients and their goals to encourage and empower them in their rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Dayna can often be found practicing her dance or circus skills. Her background includes Irish, tap, jazz, modern, and ballet dance styles and she enjoys trying out new aerial apparatuses such as lyra, trapeze, or pole. You might also find her out exploring Vancouver Island or spending quality time with her partner and their cat.
