Ashley Holland, RMT, BSc
Ashley grew up on Vancouver Island earning a science degree at UVic before beginning a career in law enforcement. In 2017 she decided to follow her passion and return to school, completing her education in Ottawa, graduating with honours in massage therapy. She completed her certifications exams with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario before registering with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia.
Ashley believes that nobody should live in pain. She strives to use an individual and holistic approach to treat the root cause of pain. Her main goal is to provide rehabilitative and preventative care while treating the clients main concern. By using knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics to assess and treat, postural imbalances, musculo-skeletal dysfunction, and pain are effectively treated, creating balance and returning each client to their optimal functioning. Ashley likes to use a variety of techniques to treat conditions and has experience treating tendinopathy, Temporo-mandibular Joint Dysfunction, scar tissue mobilization, muscular imbalances, neuralgia, sciatic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and thoracic outlet syndrome.
When Ashley isn’t working she likes to explore the Island and Cowichan Valley, as well as weight training and yoga.
